Please help us welcome new HRVHS Head Girls Lacrosse 🥍 Coach Eliza Eaton! We are excited about her energy, knowledge of the community and positivity that she brings to our team.
Coach Eaton went to high school in Connecticut and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Middlebury College in Vermont. A year later she earned her Masters in Education at Lesley University in Massachusetts. She has been a coach for the Hood River Youth Lacrosse program for the past couple of years and lives in the Hood River County community.
She says, “I have a deep understanding of the importance of athletic programs in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, and I believe that sports programs can have a truly transformative impact on young people. Sport can be where young people develop both skills and values that serve them throughout their adulthood. The values I give priority to in order to become the best versions of ourselves include: practicing teamwork, selflessness, goal setting, and resiliency. I am excited to bring my passion & expertise to the Hood River Valley High School Girls Lacrosse team.”.
We look forward to Coach Eaton bringing that experience, passion and love of lacrosse to the program every day! Go Eagles 🦅!!!
Information about registration for HRVHS spring sports can be found at hrvhs.com under “Athletics.” Freshman & Juniors will need updated sports physicals to be cleared. The first official practices will be Feb 27 from 5-7pm on the HRVHS turf field.
