Stoke Drift is a surf school on Waikiki Beach in front of the Waikiki Shore Hotel. We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch experiences for our customers.

We're looking for an instructor who's comfortable giving a surf lesson for up to 4 people. Lessons begin with a 15-30 minutes land portion and then spend ~1hr in the surf catching waves.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Outstanding customer service record
- Someone who's great with children
- Moderate athletic ability (for towing and long paddles)
- Intermediate (or better) surfing ability
- DLNR Blue Card or pending application preferred but not required

COMPENSATION
- $20/hr (with opportunities for more with experience and commitment)
- Tips, Commissions, and Opportunities to Earn Bonuses

ABOUT US
Stoke Drift is a surf school on Waikiki Beach in front of the Waikiki Shore Condominiums. We’re dedicated to the highest quality of surf instruction. Teaching people to surf is our favorite thing in the world … and we’re passionate about creating an unforgettable experience for our customers.

POSITION
We’re looking for the following person:

Required:

- Wholesome. We need an instructor who can empathize with first time surfers and gently guide them through the process.

- Intermediate-Advanced Surfer. To be an instructor you need at least an intermediate level of surfing ability.

Preferred:

- Red Cross Certified. All of our instructors are required to be Red Cross certified for Life Saving and CPR. If you do not have the certification we will arrange for new hires to get certified.

- Surf Instructor Experience. This is not a requirement because we prefer to train instructors. But if you have experience with land lessons, towing, and pushing that’s a plus. We have a training program for new instructors if you do not have experience.
