About Magic
Magic is a 50' Pacifica sportfishing yacht with twin diesel engines, which provide a smooth superior ride. Magic not only looks beautiful on the outside, she has all the comforts of home on the inside; air conditioning, television, VCR, stereo system, beds and a comfortable seating area. Everything is provided for the charter except for your personal lunch and beverages. The Captain:

ur captain is Russell Tanaka who has over 40 years of experience in commercial and charter fishing in the Hawaiian waters and holds several distinctions: the ONLY skipper in the world to have caught the largest fish in a tournament weighing in at over a 1,000 pounds - TWICE! And one of the few skippers in Hawai'i who have caught three marlins over 1,000 pounds! Russell, gifted with natural fishing instincts combined with a lifetime of experience in Hawaiian waters, maintains a 95% catch rate assuring that if fish are out there he's going to bring them in. On Magic we use Penn & Shimano 130's and Penn 50's with custom rods. Fish Disposition:
The boat will fillet servings up to 40lbs for fish caught under 100lbs to take with you on Private Full Day Charters, and 1-2lbs per person for fish caught under 100lbs on shared trips. We will also make arrangements for mounting.
