Three different dances tonight, including one she completely choreographed herself. 💃✨To see her excel on stage while maintaining a 4.0 GPA, playing varsity water polo, and competing on both the surf and paddling teams is mind-blowing. 📚🏄‍♂️🤽‍♂️🚣‍♂️Every single year she steps out there, she’s better than the last. It’s a masterclass in what happens when natural talent meets a relentless work ethic. Dedication isn’t about being perfect; it’s about getting better every single time you show up—whether it’s in the classroom, in the ocean, or on the stage.Proof that consistency and hard work always win. Stop looking for reasons to skip and start looking for ways to show up. 👊🏽
We all have those nights where the schedule is tight and the bed feels a little too comfortable. But when you’re chasing longevity and mastery, your goals aren’t up for negotiation.
Last night, I had a choice: skip the session or get to bed an hour early to win the morning. It wasn’t the “easy” call, but that feeling of being out on the water and getting it done? That lasts all day. The comfort of an extra hour in bed only lasts until you wake up.
Don’t let your “busy” schedule dictate your progress. Adjust the plan, protect your sleep, and keep your word to yourself.

We recently hosted a sold-out Anti-Chaos event to support the North Shore of Oahu, but the real highlight for me was sharing the floor with Tia. It was our first time actually teaching together and honestly, I was amazed.
I knew she was good from what I’d heard, but seeing her iron out every little detail in real-time was something else. There is truly nothing better than watching your daughter grow into a master of her craft. She’s becoming better every single day, and I couldn’t be more proud to have her by my side.

This year marks the first time surfing has officially become an interscholastic high school sport in Hawaii. So proud of my daughter for not only joining the inaugural ‘Iolani Surf Team but for making the finals in the very first meet at Sandy Beach!Seeing her on the cover of the school magazine is the icing on the cake. Between the 4.0+ GPA, Water Polo, and Paddling, I’m constantly blown away by her drive. Keep riding that wave! 🤙🏽❤️
