It's been an incredible journey to get to this point, but it was definitely not easy. 19 years? Wow. That's a long time and we couldn't have done it without the support and love of so many people. To all of you who are reading this, we want to say a big THANK YOU! Whether you were there from the beginning or just joined us recently, you played a part in keeping us on this path for 19 years. We have learned so much from each and every person who has come into our lives, whether they stayed or went their separate ways. We may never know if we're doing the right thing, but we always strive to be righteous and have purpose in everything we do. Even when it feels like we're losing the battle, we keep going because we know it's worth it. The balance between life, family, work, and everything else may be difficult to find, but one thing we can say for sure is that our journey has been possible because of the amazing people in our lives - those who surround us, invest in us, love us, and even those who may not like us. They are all a part of our one big circle of people. So once again, we want to shout out a huge MAHALO to everyone for your love and support over the past 19 years. We can't wait to see what the next year brings! Mahalo nui loa 🌸‼️😂🤣

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Quick announcement. We have a couple of guest instructor's visiting us from Fox Den Martial Arts in Yellowknife, Canada. BJJ Black Belt Landen Powell and his wife BJJ Brown Belt Celia Harding-Russell.

They will both be teaching the 645pm adult class this evening. Tuesday, December 26 at our Papakolea location and tomorrow, 645pm at our Kaka'ako location.

Sorry for the late notice and possible inconvenience this might cause to your training schedule this week.

We just got notified by Papakolea Community Development Center. We have to cancel all classes this Thursday, June 9 as they will need use of the courts to prepare for this weekends Kamehameha Parade.

Make up class tomorrow Wednesday, June 8 at 645pm or Friday, June 10 at 530pm (competition class) at our Kaka'ako location.

Any questions? Please let me know. Once again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Kaleo Auwae says that through Brazilian jiu-jitsu, he learned discipline. He learned to trust in his own abilities. He learned to work for what he wanted. Best of all, he learned how fun it can be!

A decade into his journey, Auwae decided that he wanted to bring what he found in the martial art to the youth of the community he grew up in. He felt it would bring the kids there in Papakōlea the sense of pride and accomplishment that he got from it — and thus, Relson Gracie - Team Papakolea Jiu-Jitsu was born.
