WHOSE CARD IS WORTH MORE?! 🤷🏽‍♂️🤪 with in Concord, North Carolina.
My Thoughts: HOW COOL WAS THIS TRANSACTION?! Very kind of these customers to bring us things at the show and we’re always appreciative when people do.
We’re running it back in Concord, North Carolina for the Collectors Jam by June 6 and 7! It’s a 3 day show and I’ll be dealing two days. both Saturday and Sunday. Hope to see you there and let’s make some deals!

My Thoughts: I’ll never pressure anyone into selling me a card unless they 100% want to. So whenever someone says a card is sentimental or from their childhood etc, I just pass. To me cards are just inventory and there is plenty out there for me buy. So it’s really no big deal either way. If one things for certain though, I want new people entering the hobby to enjoy it, because we all know, you’ll be trying to dodge snakes your entire hobby journey. It is what it is…

My Thoughts: I normally try to get to around 90% on my case hits, but that typically is for cards in the $200-400 price range. When I get into $1,000+ I typically will go a little higher since there is more risk for me at those higher amounts. And if I’m going to have cash flow sit on big cards, it needs to be worth it for me to store.

I SPOTTED SOMETHING IN HIS CASE 👀 with at the
My Thoughts: Normally when customers come to my booth with an Ultra Pro product, it’s because they want a chance at a cool item for free, since that’s one of the things we’re known for. So anytime I see one, that’s what I assume. But this time, I was wrong. 😂 He had them just because he saw me promoting them and liked them. So naturally had to reward him anyways…

“I DON’T WANT TO PAY THAT MUCH FOR A KICKER”
My Thoughts: I don’t think anyone really does for that matter 😂 Kickers, defensive players and offensive lineman typically get the low end of the stick in sports cards, it’s just the way it is. No matter how good they are. There can be some exceptions, but it’s normally how it is. Quarterbacks typically hold the most value, followed by Running Backs, Wide Receivers and Tight Ends (to a slightly lesser extent for TE).

“HE WENT TO THE BANK EARLIER!” 😂
My Thoughts: This kid had me laughing the entire time during our negotiation for this McCaffrey Auto and that goes a long way with me when doing deals. I got the card for a great price, so passed it on for around what I paid for it to get a fun card into these kids collections.
