There are three main components of fitness: endurance, strength, and flexibility. Fitness is achieved by combining these three elements. What makes VXN unique is the integration of these fitness elements creatively disguised in a dance format; designed to target specific fitness goals, such as cardiorespiratory endurance, muscle strength, weight loss, and increased flexibility. VXN combines physical activity with cognitive, social, psychological (including emotional), and creative processes. VXN is exercise PLUS. The fitness components release the potentially harmful energy in the body that canβt be used in a fight-or-flight stress response, but the emotional expression unique to dance acts as non-verbal language that is similar to cognitive therapy. Because VXN is physical, cognitive, and emotional, it is a vehicle for a person to cope with stress and become motivated and invigorated to achieve goals for wellbeing. VXN + WELLNESS
