SENIOR SHOUT OUT: DAELYN HUFFMAN
Daelyn Huffman is the son of Lynette and Justin Huffman and has been playing soccer for about 14 years. His journey with soccer began in the YMCA when he was 3 years old. Later on, he played for Honesdale Soccer Club, Junior High, JV and Varsity. He is also a member of the Hornets track and field team. He is a member of the National Honor Society and has been in karate for 7 years, where he achieved his black belt. After graduation, he plans on going to a 2-year trade school to become a project manager in carpentry. Daelyn would like to thank all of his coaches and teammates that have spent countless hours enjoying watching and playing soccer for HHS. Finally, he would like to thank his mom, dad, and both sisters for their constant support and for his mom always screaming everyone’s name from the stand and cheering on the team as a whole rather than just him.
