Hondo Golf Course Golf Course & Driving Range We have a 9 Hole course with challenging greens and very friendly atmosphere. We are members of the TGA and GHINN.

We have a weekly 4 man scramble every Wednesday at 5:30pm during Spring and Summer with great payouts and dinner. We also hold at least 3 Night Tournaments each year that are a blast to play. We have a lighted driving range that stays open late Thursday- Saturday. Come out and see us, for the price and hospitality I guarantee you can't find a better place.

⛳️🔥 What a day to remember a great man.

Yesterday, friends, families, golfers, pitmasters, and supporters gathered at the Hondo Golf Course for the Jerry Busby Memorial Golf Tournament & BBQ Cook-Off, and what an incredible day it was.

From the first tee shot to the final awards presentation, the course was filled with laughter, stories, friendly competition, and the unmistakable aroma of great Texas barbecue. More importantly, it was filled with people whose lives were touched by Jerry Busby.

Jerry never met a stranger. He loved this community, loved the game of golf, and had a passion for bringing people together over good food and great conversation. Yesterday was a beautiful reflection of the legacy he leaves behind. A legacy of friendship, generosity, and community.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who played, cooked, volunteered, donated, sponsored, and helped make this event such a tremendous success. Your support ensured that Jerry’s memory was celebrated in the very best way possible: surrounded by the people he cared about most.

Congratulations to all of our tournament and cook-off winners, and thank you to everyone who came out to make this year’s memorial one to remember.

Until next year… we’ll keep telling Jerry stories, making new memories, and celebrating a man who truly was a friend to all. ❤️
