Our campers enjoyed learning about mosquito prevention, how mosquitoes affect our community, and simple ways to stay safe and healthy this summer. We appreciate your dedication to educating our youth and helping keep Hondo a great place to live, learn, and play.

Start your Independence Day with a burst of color, fun, and community spirit! Join us for the Stars & Strides Color Run 5K on the 4th of July at the Rick Taylor Recreation Center!

Whether you run, jog, or walk, this family-friendly event is all about celebrating fitness, freedom, and fun. Participants will be showered in red & blue color throughout the course, making for an unforgettable holiday experience and some amazing photos!
