5 Things to Know About Frost Delays

12/09/2022

Hello Patrons,

I would like to explain to you all, what is going on with the Pine Course Greens (Back 9) at Sugarmill. The greens for years received little to no proper culture practices. At this time my team verticutted and overseeded them again with Poa Trivialis and they were top dressed lightly. My goal is to get these greens in championship condition by the end of the month. This will be accomplished by a proper foliar and fungicide program. In addition, we will be putting a granular fertilizer on all the greens, to speed up the growth and to help the Bermuda base of the greens. We continue to strive every day to ensure that our club will not only has the best greens in Citrus County, but the best putting surfaces on the West Coast.

Remember it’s always a great day for golf.
