Our first family backpacking trip is happening, and we’re bringing the whole crew—including Evie, who’s already convinced she’s the trail leader. 🐾🥾 We’ll be tackling this stretch of the Pinhoti Trail near Flag Mountain just northwest of Heflin, and by ‘tackling,’ we mean trying not to trip over Evie’s enthusiasm or our own two feet!

This is our first family adventure for Hook•Horn•Harvest, and it is about more than just hiking and sharing /learning new skills; it’s about spending time together, testing our limits, and seeing who can survive the trail with the least complaining (Evie will definitely win this one). Campfires, trail snacks, and memories are guaranteed—smooth sailing…. Maybe not so much.
