We're coming up on a week since Tournament Day, and wanted to shout out this year's Youth Award, which went to 7-year-old Amelia Stengel, who landed an incredible 16.92 lb king salmon—good enough for 11th place overall! 👏

Amelia set the bar early in the day with a fish that looks almost as big as she is… and we’re pretty sure she knew right away it was a winner.

We love seeing so many young anglers out on the water—moments like this are what the tournament is all about. It’s impossible not to smile looking at these photos! 😊

Despite a several week delay, the 32nd Annual Homer Winter King Salmon Tournament was a big success! Over $130,000 is being awarded to anglers, and almost $30,000 was given away in merchandise prizes. Mark your calendars for the 33rd Annual Tournament on March 20, 2027!

The top 10 fish were:
1. Michael Ardenia 26.2 lbs = $23,513 + $17,631 in Side Tourneys
2. Tim Dillon 24.76 lbs = $12,375 + $22,831 in Side Tourneys
3. Sean Lowe 21.9 lbs = $9,900 (Top White King)
4. Stephen Krause 20.12 lbs = $8,663
5. Bo Calhou 19.68 lbs = $7,425
6. Joe Martishev Sr. 19.08 lbs = $6,188
7. Christine Marlowe 18.46 lbs = $4,950 (Top Female Angler)
8. Mark Tornai 18 lbs = $3,713
9. Riley Whitsitt 17.88 lbs = $2,475
