Good posture can help strengthen your back and ease joint pain. It's important to be mindful of your posture throughout the day. To check your posture:
Stand with your back and head against a wall, heels 2-4 inches away from the wall.
Put your hand behind your lower back.
There should be just enough room for your hand to slide between you and the wall.
