Annual ELKS SOCCER SHOOT event that is scheduled for Friday, September 11th, in the field behind West Homer Elementary School - rain or shine!⚽️🎉

📋Pre-registration is encouraged but if not, parents and students may register the day of the event. Parents/Guardians MUST accompany the child at registration, as well as sign the form giving their student(s) approval to participate. This is a fun event for all youth between the ages of 5 and 15 years! Please pass along and encourage your child to participate!

Homer United FC’s Futsal (indoor soccer) program is now open to players approximately 3½ to 19 years old (12th grade). Futsal provides a fun, fast-paced environment where players can stay active, build confidence, and continue developing their soccer skills during the indoor season.

Join us for a fun night of soccer while supporting the Drew Brown Scholarship! ❤️

📅 Sunday, August 23
⏰ 6:00 PM
⚽️ 11v11 • Three 30-minute periods

Open to middle school, high school, alumni & community players!

Middle school players are welcome to sign up. If we have more players than space allows, priority will be given to 7th & 8th graders who have regularly played with us.

📝 Sign up by Friday, August 21 so teams can be created.

💛 Players & spectators: Suggested donation of $10 or more, payable at the game. All proceeds support the Drew Brown Scholarship.

Checks can be made payable to Homer Foundation, with Drew Brown Scholarship in the memo.

⚠️ All players must have a 2026 City of Homer Recreation Waiver on file.

We couldn’t be more proud of our HUFC players competing at State Cup in Fairbanks this weekend! ❤️

These players have battled their way to the FINALS and will compete TODAY! What an incredible accomplishment and such a proud moment for our entire club.

Even if you’re not in Fairbanks today, send our players all the happy thoughts, good energy, and HUFC love as they take the field! 🙌⚽️

Days like today remind us just how thankful we are for the coaches, players, and families who make HUFC what it is. We feel incredibly lucky to have such a supportive soccer community surrounding these kids.

We are SO proud of you. Now go have fun, play hard, and leave it all on the field! 🧡💙🤍⚽️

This weekend, our Homer United FC U13 Tutka and U15 Augustine teams are competing at the Alaska State Cup in Fairbanks!

Join us in cheering on these players as they take on some of the top teams from across Alaska. We’re so proud of their hard work, dedication, and the way they represent our community.

A huge thank you to our players and families for making the trip to Fairbanks. Safe travels, play hard, have fun, and know your HUFC family is cheering you on every step of the way!

So proud of these HUFC players for putting together their own teams and competing at the Kenai Peninsula Soccer Club Slammin’ Salmon 7v7 Tournament!

This exciting new tournament is a great addition to soccer on the Kenai Peninsula, and we’re looking forward to making it a HUFC event next summer in 2027.

A huge congratulations to the Homer teams:
⚽ U13 Boys: 3-0 and undefeated!
🏆 U15 Boys: Bracket Champions!
💚 The “Small Fry” team: A fun mix of age groups and HUFC & KPSC girls who came together to compete and have a blast.

✨We are deeply grateful to Homer Middle School Principal Meghan Redmond✨ for your kindness over the past two summers, your support has made a meaningful difference for our HUFC players and families 🫶🙏💙🤍

We also sincerely thank Glacier View Baptist Church for opening your facility when we were searching for additional space needed, and we truly appreciate Homer High School for continuing to provide field access when possible.

While our community’s outdoor fields are heavily used, the generosity of our schools, churches, and partners ensures our kids still have a place to play ⚽️

One more BIG thank you to our amazing HUFC players, families, coaches, and the entire HUFC team.

Because of your commitment, encouragement, and countless hours of support, another incredible summer season is in the books. We are so grateful for each and every one of you and proud of the community we’ve built together.

We hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer, make lots of memories, and have a fantastic start to the new school year.
