Need to give my wife a huge shout out for restoring the Appleshed Equestrian sign. This sign was was given to me about 10 years ago from my students and over the years it had sustained a fair amount of weather damage and this spring a storm ripped it from the posts. Anyways Beth Fernandez came to the rescue of patching and painting the sign back to it original glory. Thank you for your support and commitment towards our farm.

I have not had time to share too much about what Hobe and I have been upto for a while, but some things are coming together. When COVID hit last March I had a gut feeling this was my best opportunity to see if I could get Hobe to PSG, and earn my USDF Silver medal. And for the most part I have been right, without shows last year I had the time to consistently take lessons (Northland Dressage) and Hobe and I have chipped away at each of the movements and this year about every other month we have ventured out to a show and tested what we have learned. Each show has been fun and exhausting at the same time. Overall I am super happy with what I have learned, just wish I could figure out how to learn faster, I know I am still holding Hobe back from his potential, but each time out we seem to get a little better. Here are some photo photos from our last show at SLADS and we did earn a PSG score towards our Silver and hopefully in a few weeks I can earn the second one and check this goal off of the bucket list.

Fun day at The Property Shop schooling series. All six students, had good learning experiences and brought home some ribbons, and super excited for these two inspiring eventers for their official introduction to the sport. Thank you Maggie Stonecipher for hosting, the judging and jump courses were excellent.
