The GLHS Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026 has officially been announced! Over the next couple weeks, we will continue to post about each of the new inductees!

Next up: Mary Randall (Marchese).

Mary was a 9x varsity letter recipient and an MVP and all-area recognized athlete in 3 different varsity sports! She was particularly successful in basketball which is the sport she would choose to play collegiately. She was the most prolific scorer in GVSU basketball history! As a 4-year starter, she set the program scoring record as the only player ever to score 2,000 points, while receiving All-American honors in 3 different seasons, and setting numerous other school and GLIAC records. Culminating in her induction into the GVSU hall of fame in 2005! Congrats Mary!

Last night marked the final game of the season for Varsity. The Lady Comets battled hard against a very talented East Lansing team in the district semifinals but couldn’t quite hold on in the second half.

It’s always tough to see a season come to an end — especially one that brought so much growth, energy, and heart. We are incredibly proud of this team and the way they competed all season long.

Thank you, Lady Comets, for the passion and the pride you brought every time you stepped on the court. Great work. 💙🏀💛
