Decided to rock my OG Lift Local shirt today from 2014. We have hundreds if not thousands at this point, of these shirts all over the world. It’s been a mission of mine and the meaning behind it is to support LOCALLY owned and operated fitness centers around the globe. I was initially very annoyed that a local corporate box gym had made similar shirts. I then remembered that everyone that proudly wears one of my Lift Local shirts knows my passion behind it and it means something completely different. I made those shirts not only to support my own locally owned gym, but to support every locally owned and operated gym. This is a tough business, especially when trying to compete with these big box and franchise gyms that are only in it for the numbers. My goal has always been to not try to compete but try to offer my clients something they can never get at a big gym like that. Local gyms do not compete, we separate from that. I am proud to say that I know I offer something they never can. We are the meaning of LIFT LOCAL!
