Inspired by the Community-Based boxing gyms Jose “Flaco” Perez frequented while growing up in Brooklyn. Flaco’s Community Gym boasts no smoke and mirrors or fancy equipment. A gym that focuses on family and an opportunity to transform lives instead of the bottom line. Where anyone regardless of race, gender, or social class can feel welcome. We are a community gym because we support the community

and the community supports us. Whether it’s underprivileged youth looking for a place to fit in, a single mom working out with her kids, or a corporate CEO learning boxing basics. Our approach is simple, we’re here to help you set your goals and surpass them. Ask for Flaco and take a look around. We won’t pressure you into any crazy contracts.

There’s certain natural ingredients that make a fighter. You can teach anybody how to box, but not everybody can be a boxer.

These two came in 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘺.

Hungry to work. Hungry to listen. Hungry to learn. Hungry to be great.

That hunger is different. You can’t teach that.
They’re only 8 years old, but they already got something special.

Sebastian (𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙖) is well on his way! 🥊

Fresh out the gates and learning on the job, our boy made us proud and leaves the Havoc Tournament with a 2-2 record and 2 stoppages.

Not bad for his first run — and trust me, he's only getting better. 🔥

Every round is a lesson. Every fight is experience. We learn, we grow, we go back to work. We couldn't make these trips happen without the people who believe in what we're building.

We come back from the trip:

All three are key components in building the foundation needed to win a fight.

A huge thank you to our Mental Sports Performance Consultant Sara Lida Nusbaum Russo for being such an incredible addition to our team. She has been an upgrade for us both personally and professionally, and we're already seeing the difference.

She traveled all the way to Orlando and Tampa to be there with us for two separate shows, supported the team through the competition, and then followed up with a post-show debriefing to help us learn, grow, and get better.

That's what a team looks like.

Everybody plays a role. Everybody brings something to the table. And when we put it all together, we become something special.
