St. Mary's Seahawks

Over the years, the Seahawks’ parents have joked that our girls are “fair weather” soccer players. Games where it’s either really cold or really hot have been a big challenge for them over the years.

BUT NOT TODAY! The Seahawks traveled north of Baltimore to play a tough Coppermine team for a late afternoon kick off, after the heat had been building all day long. The game started off a little rough, but as the Seahawks settled in and began to keep more and more possession, the passes started connecting and creating changes and the momentum swung in our favor. And we never gave it back. By the time the final whistle blew the Seahawks had managed to secure a definitive 3-1 victory which made the 2+ hour car ride home so much nicer after playing a HOT 70 minutes of soccer!

What a great way to play our final away game of the EDP season. The Seahawks end their Spring EDP season at home on Saturday June 4!

The Seahawks had a big weekend of soccer with home games both days!

Now we switch gears to our first U14 tryout (2009 girls) tomorrow evening at Chancellors Run Regional Park on field 4. Check in will start a little after 5:00 with warm ups beginning at 5:30. Send us a message if you need any additional info.

Looking for something to do this Thursday, Friday or Saturday? Several of our Seahawks attend Esperanza Middle School and one of our Seahawks has a fantastic role in Shrek the Musical. C'mon out and see a group of middle schoolers put on one heck of a performance!!

Spring Break is ALMOST here!! Only 1 more day of school!

The girls had a very busy month of March that spilled into the first week of April with already having played 3 of their Spring 2022 EDP games!
