Team Backlash Expands Into New Regions

Backlash Paintball is pleased to announce the expansion of Team Backlash into Denver, Colorado and Raleigh, North Carolina. Team Backlash celebrates their 10 Year Anniversary with the announcement of the team’s expansion.

Denver, CO – Colorado paintball just received a shot in the arm with the expansion of Team Backlash onto the Denver paintball scene. Leading the effort with boots on the ground is Denver’s Team Leader Jagger Watkins. Jagger grew up in Dove Creek, Colorado – a.k.a. “The middle of nowhere” on the Devil’s Highway – Highway 666 (now Highway 941.) Jagger started off in paintball by either playing in the woods or at a local farmer’s junkyard. At 22 years of age, he now paintballs at Blitz Paintball in Dacono, Colorado – which is Team Backlash Denver’s home field.

Raleigh, NC – North Carolina’s paintball season is ramping up with the addition of Team Backlash to the Raleigh area. Tony “Tick” Mai, A Marine Corps veteran, is the new Team Leader for Raleigh. Tony was the tactical officer for Team Backlash’s Florida team for many years. Born in California and raised in Florida, Tony now calls Clayton, NC his home. Since moving to North Carolina, he has been working on getting his regional Backlash group together. Tony is an aggressive front/mid player who’s noble and honest demeanor makes him a perfect choice. Team Backlash's home field in Raleigh is Black River Paintball located in Angier, NC.

Team Backlash was founded in Miami, Florida in 2005 and is managed by Tim “TooBad” Brown and Abel “freeztag” Rodriguez. It has enjoyed over 10 years of paintball seasons as a self-funded organizationupon which their successful inclusive formula has led to the team’s recent expansions.
