The Dog Beach

Come out and enjoy the afternoon at the beach with all your family, including your dog. The Dog Beach of Hollywood is available:

Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only, year-round

November - March: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
April - October: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Location: Between Pershing and Custer Streets
(Located approximately ½ mile north of Sheridan Street)
You may buy the 6 month pass

(2 dogs per permit) at the dog beach, during operating hours. The park ranger on duty will be able to do the transaction & provide you with the pass at that time. If you are a Hollywood resident, you must bring your driver's license, otherwise you will be charged the non-resident fee. Charges for the beach:

Hollywood Resident with ID --- $5.00
Non Resident ----------------------- $10.00

Six Months
Hollywood Resident with ID --- $30.00
Non Resident ----------------------- $60.00

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THE BEACH OUTSIDE OF THESE HOURS OR LOCATION. All dog beach lovers please be ambassadors of the dog beach. Most of you are responsible, but there may be people who forget to pick up after their dogs along Surf road & in the parking area. Some are dog beach visitors & others are people who walk with their dogs along Surf road. We must take pride in ownership & be vigilant of all those who neglect to pick up & of those who litter in this area. We must give back to our community! If you observe anyone violating this rule, encourage them to pick up & do your share to ensure that the dog beach remains a permanent landmark in Hollywood & the cleanest section of the beach. Our success depends on YOU.
