Coach Heather is a Chicago native who grew up on the softball field. She began playing at age 4, moved into travel ball at 14, and went on to play catcher and shortstop in college. Her playing career included time at Bryant & Stratton College in Milwaukee (JUCO) before continuing at Trinity International University in Bannockburn, IL, where she competed at the NAIA D2 level.
Since 2019, Coach Heather has been coaching athletes from youth through high school, most recently guiding her former high school team to a District Championship in 2025. While she specializes in infield instruction, she has experience coaching all positions and takes pride in developing well-rounded players.
Her passion goes beyond teaching mechanics — she is dedicated to building confidence, sharpening skills, and helping athletes fall in love with the game the same way she did.
