Our loudest Alpha turns 13!! She can lay down a bunt like nobody’s business, rally the dugout and keep everyone laughing (parents included)! We love our #16! Happiest Birthday Brynlee!

“Pico Chico!!!!” Another ALPHA turns 13! Our favorite #24 holds down the corners, hits hard (Pico Power💥) and is stepping up in the circle. Grace is one hard working softball player and excellent team mate. Happiest 13th Birthday Pico!

That’s a wrap on 12U! Alpha wanted to play at Shipyard so that’s what we did (in extreme triple digit heat) and with an unfortunate end to the tournament - a default win to the home team due to weather. It’s been a roller coaster these past two years, but ALPHA has held on tight to each other and their love for the game of softball. They’ve navigated coaching changes. Said goodbye to teammates. Watched friends move on and peers move up to the next challenge. Through it all they’ve continued to show up, put in the work and choose each other. As they say: The grass is green where you water it. Being a part of the South Wake Storm Organization you understand there is a process to development, there is no rushing it. For Alpha, they needed these two years for confidence building, resilience, leadership and ensuring they’re the teammate others want beside them. It will always be development over shortcuts and growth over comparison. Looking forward to 14U in September! ❤️🤍💙
