Ronin Sport Performance is owned and operated by Chad Pearson, who currently serves as a Human Performance Strength and Conditioning Specialist for an elite military Special Operations unit helping one of America’s finest fighting forces in all aspects of Performance Resiliency and Human Performance. Coach Pearson was a two-sport athlete at Buena Vista University (IA) starring in both Football as

well as Track & Field. After his college career ended, Pearson became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the NSCA and has coached at 5 NCAA Division-I universities over the course of 14 years with appearances in 8 FBS Bowl Games, an FCS Playoff Semi-Final game, an NCAA Basketball Tournament Sweet-16 match-up and has helped produce over 30 NFL athletes and over a dozen NFL Draft picks. Ronin Sport Performance is meant to serve as a resource for any athlete looking to improve his/her athletic potential while decreasing the potential for injury with sound and effective training methods, research-driven performance metrics, with an emphasis on Long-Term Athletic Development. Ronin Sport Performance also provides coach-to-coach mentorship, education/curriculum development, program planning and periodization for both weight training as well as on the field/court performance consulting. Ronin Sport Performance is able to provide the highest quality of training and consulting for athletes and coaches from youth level to elite professional athletes as well as the Military/Tactical community.

Added a new wrinkle to our classic Flag Chaser game where each person is trying to grab flags and keep their own.

In this progression I secretly told each person if they were a “Rabbit” or the “Chaser”. The Chaser could attack at any time and once he did, he would have 20-seconds to grab as many Rabbit flags as possible.

The creative part is in the gamesmanship of when and where to attack as the Chaser.

Three days. Five sports. Countless smiles.

Another incredible Ronin Multi-Sport Mini Camp is in the books.

For three days, these young athletes ran, jumped, threw, caught, competed, and discovered that being active is supposed to be fun.

They learned new skills, stepped outside their comfort zones, encouraged their teammates, and left with a little more confidence than they arrived with.

That’s what Ronin is all about.

Thank you to every athlete who gave their best effort and to every parent who trusted us with your child. Watching these kids grow—not just as athletes, but as teammates and people—is the best part of what we do.

We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to help more kids discover a lifelong love for movement, sport, and healthy habits.

Five sports.

One unforgettable experience.

Our first fully booked Ronin Multi-Sport Mini Camp was everything we hoped it would be.

This camp wasn’t about creating the next superstar. It was about helping kids build confidence, try new sports, compete with character, and discover just how much fun being active can be.

From basketball and pickleball to football, soccer, baseball, and softball, these athletes embraced every challenge, encouraged one another, and finished the week by completing the Ronin Challenge together.

Thank you to all of the athletes for bringing incredible energy, effort, and enthusiasm—and thank you to the parents for trusting Ronin Sport Performance.

Registration is now open for our next 6-Week Youth Speed & Agility Performance Camp with Ronin Sport Performance.

This camp is designed specifically for athletes ages 9–12 (ish) and focuses on developing:
• Linear speed and acceleration
• Change of direction mechanics
• Reactive agility and coordination
• Movement confidence and athleticism

The program follows a structured progression beginning with foundational mechanics, body control, posture, and efficient movement patterns before advancing into more reactive and competitive agility work.

Our goal is not just to make athletes tired — it’s to help them become better movers, safer athletes, and more confident competitors.
