It’s extremely important for coaches to emphasize receiving the ball with the proper foot. By doing so, players are able to play freely, the timing and ex*****on allows for the game to flow...for midfielders, applying this to your game will give you a better chance to scan after the first touch...as you’ll see in this video, Colleen does a great job receiving the ball with the proper foot throughout , but on the last touch after the drop back you’ll see that she received the ball with the Right foot (instead of inside Left) and the ball rolled past her body.. she recovers well but it’s obvious that it disrupted the flow of play... great job .casey11 🔥 another great session! Keep ballin girl!!!

(Midfielder) working on scanning multiple times in a small area, positioning body correctly to be able to receive and play that final ball forward, breaking pressure with the touch and breaking lines with the pass... as you will see in the video, although Ava does a great job, minor adjustments to technique allows for proper ex*****on...it’s all in the details! Great job Ava!
