🍺🍸THE TRUTH ABOUT ALCOHOL😱

Alcohol, no matter what you mix it with, contains 7 calories per gram (that’s right, there is no such thing as zero calorie alcohol consumption 😔)

About 90% of the metabolism (or breaking down) of alcohol from a toxic substance is performed by the liver with the rest excreted through the lungs, p*e, and sweat (which is why I can smell you in the gym, you know who you are)

Since your liver sees alcohol as a toxin, it will go to work to detox the body from it first. So it stops working on fat, carbs and protein.

I’m not saying you can’t be healthy and enjoy alcohol from time to time. What I am saying is that there is NO healthy dose of alcohol (but what about my 🍷 for my ♥️?)

The only thing in wine that benefits your heart is resveratrol, and getting resveratrol from wine is like getting your calcium from a doughnut 🍩

Alcohol slows (stops) fat loss, lowers hormones, decreases muscle building potential, and makes you stupid 🤪

Literally everything you try to accomplish in the gym, alcohol wrecks havoc on.

It screws with digestion, nutrient absorption, and increases your risk of cancer 😩😭)

It also increases appetite, lessens inhibitions and deteriorates willpower. All positively bad outcomes for working on your fitness and life.

You cannot out train a bad diet or your wine glass. So ditch alcohol until you’ve reached your fitness goals.
