See the mats under these people at the 33rd AIKC in Webster on 11/15/25? Well here they are in the dojo. They didn’t move themselves. I am the most blessed man in the world to have friends/students who will give up time, sweat, equipment, money, and blood to help! I can never thank Bob Coots, Linda Coots, Evan Coots, Ryan Coots, Scott Underwood, T Underwood, Mason Underwood, Sempai Ryan Snfillipo, Isaac Sugar, David Bataglia, Ally, Chuckles, Chuck and KJ enough! (I hope I didn’t miss anyone!)

These people and so many more (Hannah, Lorene, Renee,…) made the tournament work. Thank you!

I took a fight on 20 minutes notice yesterday. I had to borrow a uniform, belt, cup, and mouthpiece. (I am not sure if the last two were loans, but I gave them back anyway.) I lost on a fair decision by excellent officials. I did get a cool photo out of the deal, and only one minor bruise. At my current age of 26 and 3/4 (or so), the photo is worth more than a trophy. Fall Classes Start Monday, 9/12/22
New students are welcome! Looking forward to seeing ALL returning students! The dojo has a great blend of ranks and ages! (Couples, this is great therapy! Families, an activity that can be done together!)

Osu, After 2 full years, Shihan Monaco is moving to his own Dojo in Greece Ridge Center Mall at the World Gym. We wish him and his students well! We will be part of his grand opening ceremonies soon!

There is more space at our dojo now. Through the summer I will be teaching 3 days a week. I added a Saturday 8 am class along with the Monday and Thursday classes.

If you have been out for a while, no better time than now to restart. You can work back into shape and remember old material slowly.

The training calendar is on the website. Most of the summer you could train up to three days a week!
