SEED RECAP #5: Chloe Brunsberg’s Trip to Costa Rica!

“It was incredible to see how God used basketball to bring so many people together and give us opportunities to talk about Jesus. From playing a game with prisoners to teaching little kids how to dribble, I saw how basketball could create connections with people we may never have met otherwise. I had so much joy being there and seeing how the Lord could use a game I love to build relationships and share His love in such a real way. SEED RECAP #4: Leah Richard’s Dominican Republic Trip!

“This past summer I had the opportunity to go on a SEED trip to the Dominican Republic and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. One of my favorite moments was when we were in the streets of a village playing sports games and little girls would come up to me and ask to be spinned around in the air. And every time I would swing them they would have the biggest smile on their faces and be so joyful. It was a great reminder for me to find joy in the little things!” - Leah Richards

“Traveling to the Batey’s and playing with kids from a number of different villages was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived in Batey Nueve, we were greeted by joyful kids who welcomed us with open arms. Through sports, we were able to form relationships with them and I will never forget the love and joy displayed through those children.
