Scott brings a passion for developing athletes, a commitment to building strong team culture, and a desire to help young players grow both on and off the field. We're thrilled to continue expanding our presence in the Kalamazoo area and can't wait to see what his team accomplishes this season.

WAY TO GO STORM!

🥎12U Johnson had a FANTASTIC weekend going 4-2 and taking home 1st Place in the Consolation Bracket! They only allowed 15 runs in 6 games and were on FIRE defensively. Fynlee DeJonge came in hot on championship Sunday with 33 strikeouts on the day. Hadley VanDrunen also came in hot on Saturday with 14 Strikeouts and only 3 hits allowed in 2 games. Overall it was an ALL team effort behind the plate and on the field with multiple clutch plays and insane 2 out rally's.

🥎After a slow start at the Outlaws Summer Invite, the Michigan Storm 16U (Bobbio) Regional squad showed resilience and grit, battling back to finish with a 3–3 record for the weekend.

After the slow start, the Storm found their rhythm as the tournament progressed, finishing with an impressive .402 team batting average and a 1.033 OPS. The lineup consistently put pressure on opposing defenses, totaling 49 hits, including 11 extra-base hits, and scoring 36 runs across the event. The team also demonstrated strong situational hitting, driving in 29 runs while maintaining a .408 average with runners in scoring position.

Michigan Storm 16U Regional (Bobbio) plays next this coming week at the Firestix College Exposure.

Today we celebrate the fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, and father figures who make this journey possible. Thank you for the early mornings, long drives, endless buckets of balls, countless hours at the field, and unwavering support from the stands.

Whether you’re coaching, catching bullpen sessions, hauling equipment, working concession stands, or simply being your athlete’s biggest fan, your dedication does not go unnoticed. The lessons you teach about hard work, resilience, teamwork, and character extend far beyond the softball field.

Thank you for investing your time, energy, and hearts into your daughters and our MI Storm family. We appreciate everything you do to help our athletes grow both on and off the field.
