Nancy Anne Sailing Charters offers day sails on Lake Michigan, usually of 2.5 hour duration and shorter day sails on Lake Macatawa, usually of 1.25 hours duration. We include a sailing lesson, if desired, at no extra charge and also provide light refreshments. Captain Pat Nowak is a veteran sailor with thousands of miles of Great Lakes sailing. y Bayshore Yacht Club in Holland, MI for the last eight years and has competed successfully in numerous annual races such as the Hospice Cup, the Anchorage Cup, and the Clipper Cup race across Lake Michigan. He has also participated in several NOOD One Design regattas on the Atlantic off of Marblehead, Massachusetts. An emphasis on safety, ship control, sailing efficiency, and the sharing of sailing knowledge are all part of the experience that Captain Nowak endeavors to provide with each day sailing cruise. Each trip commences with a brief review of safety procedures so that each passenger understands how important safety is to the enjoyment of the sailing experience.
