Come down for our Ice Fishing Derby Saturday March 7th from 8AM - noon. $20 entry fee for adults 17+ and kids are free. Half the entry fee to be divided up into three places for longest trout.

It's been 6 years since our group had it's first full moon paddle. My life had put kayaking on the back burner but new friends have been kayaking and it's time for another FULL MOON KAYAK at LAKE SIOG (aka Holland Pond), in Holland MA. This month is the Sturgeon Moon and we are heading there on Saturday night, August 9th, some time between 6 and 6:30 pm.

As the person who runs this page, I want you to know that there will be NO trained life guard as part of this. This is an invitation only as far as letting you know a bunch of like minded people will be at the same place, at the same time. I will bear no responsibility for the group or individuals. You will be responsible for knowing the area, knowing the rules of that pond, letting others know where you are going, having phones charged, life jackets, lighting for the vessels, etc. I hope that if you are inexperienced you will take that into consideration too.

If you've ever joined us before you'll know that I enjoy a good theme. This time it will be MERMAIDS. If you want to decorate your kayak, canoe or paddle board, we'd love to see it. There may even be a prize for the best decor.

Hey ,

Who's itching to get out on the water? Whenever a gorgeous day shows up, my mind trails off the the adventures that could happen on the water. This page was created to celebrate that and get like minded people together. At the time I didn't know the difference between a page and a group on fb. I meant for this to be a place where you could ask if anyone wanted to kayak with you, recommend or ask about gear, etc. Then I quickly realized no one can post on here except for me, unless it's to comment on my post.

I did make a group on fb with a similar name but it has a lot less people on it. If you missed out that group and you're still interested in kayaking I'd suggest you join it.

I've already been out kayaking twice. I'm hoping to have a lot more adventures this year, some full moon invites, and in general have more fun. If your goals are the same, join that group. Paddle boarders are also invited.

April 23rd is a full moon. Its probably too cold to full moon kayak .... but May 23rd is also a full moon. Who is interested in going?
