Registration is open for the 2023 Paddle Skedaddle and pre-registration is required.

This year’s Hamilton Reservoir Paddle Skedaddle, a fund-raiser for the lake association (FHRA, Inc.), will take place on August 27. There will be race classes for all kinds of canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards and multiple distances to choose from:
• 7 miles (2 laps of the North Basin)
• 5 miles (Adult/Youth participants only),
• 3.5 miles (1 lap of the North basin), or
• 1 mile

Race headquarters will be at the Aqua Riders of Holland Beach on the North Basin of Hamilton Reservoir in Holland, MA. The race will start at 10:00 a.m. preceded by a safety and information meeting required of all participants at 9:40.

Waiting till the last minute to register for this year’s Paddle Skedaddle? I get it, plans can change. Remember, you must preregister, though. Any cancellations will be refunded up to the end of the day on Saturday August 28. So, no risk! 🙂

New event for 2021, the Waterman category!

This event will feature athletes that want to compete in two different paddle disciplines. The 2-lap event will have racers competing with one type of watercraft for lap one and another for lap two for a total of 7 miles. Each lap must utilize a different watercraft and means of propulsion (single blade or double blade paddle, or, paddling prone with hands).
