These are the six Brewer Witches that fought hard, through tough cold and windy conditions to earn their spot in the State Championship Tournament this coming Friday at Natanis Golf Club. The team won the qualifying event over eleven other KVAC schools. These six will be joining the two girls from Brewer who had previously qualified to compete in the Girls State Championship. Congratulations to Natalee Freeman, Finnley Collins, Carter Charette, Freddie Stewart, Jackson Jankowski, Liam Greenlaw, Parker Bouchard and Bryan Sinclair. We couldn't be more proud of these eight Witches for their accomplishment! Thanks to Natanis Golf Club for hosting us, and for allowing us to compete at such a great facility.

These three Brewer Witches made us all very proud at the third Girls Jamboree on Wednesday at Pinehill in Brewer. Finnley Collins, Natalee Freeman and Lydia Corbett, all played their best with Natalee winning the medalist honors for the match, in a field of 30 players, with a score of 39. Thanks to John Bapst and Pinehill for hosting the event, and for providing such a great opportunity for all the girls involved. It was a great day for girls high school golf!

The first Girls Golf Jamboree was held yesterday at Traditions Golf Club, with six schools turning out for the event. Girls from Brewer, Bangor, Hampden, John Bapst, MDI and Old Town all turned out for the fun. It was a fun day for all the players with some great scoring as well. Natalee Freeman from Brewer was the medalist for the day with a score of 42. Thanks to all the Athletic Directors for putting this new initiative together and to the coaches who attended to help coordinate the day. A great day for girls high school golf in Maine!
