Hi Piedmont families!

Quick update from your softball commish!

Practices will begin 9/8, and games will begin 9/19! Our 6U and 10U divisions will practice on Mondays and/or Wednesdays, while 8U and 13U will practice on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Games will be played on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with 8U potentially having a single Thursday night game against another local league if scheduling permits.

All communication will be relayed through SportsEngine, so it’s important that you download the app. Your coaches will also communicate directly with their teams through the app. Any rain postponements or cancellations will be determined by the softball president/commish, and details regarding cancellations and potential rescheduling will be communicated directly by the league.

As for schedules and rosters, they are being finalized and should be released early (ish) next week. Jerseys will be ordered based on the sizing information provided during registration. We have no idea what colors we will receive until they are in our possession. I will coordinate with coaches for jersey drop-off ahead of the first game.

6U games will be 1 hour (approximately 3 innings).
8U games will be 1.5 hours (4 innings).
10U games will be 1.5 hours (5 innings).
13U games will be 1.5 hours (6 innings).

There will be no umpires for any divisions, as our fall season is intended to focus on developmental skills. Games will be umpired by coaches/coaching staff. There will not be playoffs during the fall season.

We kindly remind everyone that our fields are a carry-in/carry-out complex. We already contend with park trash left behind by those who walk their dogs, and we ask that you take all trash with you when you leave. This helps us greatly, and we truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

Hey Piedmont Families!

As we begin to get set up for our Fall Season, please be sure to download Sports Engine! This is the app that rosters, team communication and all details pertaining to the season will be distributed.

Additionally, our 6U and 10U divisions will have practices scheduled on either Monday or Wednesday, with games on either Saturday or Sunday. Our 8U and 13U divisions will have practices scheduled on either Tuesdays or Thursdays, with games on either Saturday or Sunday.

Our 8U-13U divisions will be playing other local leagues as scheduling permits.

Practices will begin 9/8 and the season will conclude 10/30.

We are still accepting registrations, but will be closing registration in the coming days. PLEASE be sure to get signed up as soon as possible.
