For everyone who doesn’t know me. My wife and I ranch together full time in the PigEye basin in the little belt mountains in central Montana. My last post was February 2nd. We started calving on February 9th and that kept us busy. My wife being 8 months pregnant kept alongside me from feeding to night calving and helping take care of the entire day to day chores. We welcomed a new ranch manager on the 24th of March and we couldn’t be happier! From there on out it’s been busy, finishing calving, branding, fencing, hauling, irrigating, haying and now into harvest. With all of that plus all the BS out in the world right now, I’ve been doing A LOT more social media distancing. Even with everything going on, I do still get to work in the saddle shop as much as I can. I’ve not posted much for my work, but I’m still doing plenty and I thank all of my customers for understanding that I’m busy but working hard to get orders done along with taking care of my family and our livestock.
