Are you over 40 and looking for a small group fitness class?
Are you tired of walking into the gym and getting lost or being confused trying to understand the workout or what’s coming next?
Are you tired of the high rising costs of fitness classes?
Are you just tired or being tired of not not knowing where are how to begin or where to go?

Look no further, Susan Tee Fitness is a small group fitness studio, in Hoboken geared to a 4 -5 person per class boutique studio. Classes are kept small and cost kept low(20bucks per class) so they are attainable and accessible for everyone.
Working out after 40 becomes even more important than earlier in life. Your body naturally changes with age, but exercise can slow or even reverse many of those effects. Here are some key reasons to keep moving 💪

1. Maintain Muscle Mass

After about age 30, people gradually lose muscle in a process called Sarcopenia.
Strength training helps preserve and rebuild muscle so you stay strong and independent.

2. Protect Bone Health

Weight-bearing exercises help maintain bone density and reduce the risk of Osteoporosis, which becomes more common with age.

3. Improve Heart Health ❤️

Regular workouts reduce the risk of heart disease and help manage conditions like Hypertension and Type 2 Diabetes.

4. Boost Energy and Reduce Fatigue

Exercise improves circulation and oxygen flow, which helps you feel more energized during the day.

5. Support Mental Health

Physical activity releases endorphins and can help reduce anxiety, depression, and stress. It also supports brain health and lowers the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

6. Maintain Mobility and Balance

Flexibility and balance training reduce fall risk and help you stay active in everyday life.

7. Weight Management

Metabolism tends to slow with age. Regular exercise helps control body fat and maintain a healthy weight.

8. Better Sleep 😴

People who exercise regularly often fall asleep faster and get deeper sleep.

✅ Good types of workouts after 40
• Strength training (2–3 times per week)
• Cardio (walking, cycling, swimming)
• Flexibility work (stretching or Yoga)
• Balance exercises

💡 The biggest benefit: staying active after 40 helps you maintain quality of life, independence, and long-term health.
