Last night didn’t end the way we wanted, as we fell to Valpo 3-1.
Baseball is a game of failure. It tests you mentally every single day and demands toughness, focus, and the ability to move forward. It’s harder than most people realize. There’s no looking back at the “what ifs.” There’s only learning from the experience and preparing for the opportunities ahead.
We finished the season with a 14-14 record, and while our season came to an end, the growth, perseverance, and character shown by this group of young men throughout the year give us plenty to be proud of. Every player had a role, and every role contributed to our season. Whether that impact came on the field, in the dugout, or by being the best teammate they could be every day, each player helped shape who we are as a family.
Thank you to our fans, families, and supporters for being with us every step of the way. Your encouragement and support meant the world to our players and coaches.
This young team is continuing to grow, and there is plenty to build on from this year. The lessons learned, challenges overcome, and experiences gained will help shape the future of our program.
