📢 IMPORTANT SCHEDULE UPDATE — SATURDAY GAMES

Due to the extreme heat expected this Saturday, we are making adjustments to our game schedule to ensure the safety of all of our athletes. 🏈☀️

Games will ONLY be played during the following times:
• 9:00 AM
• 10:00 AM
• 11:00 AM

🚨 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM games will NOT be played this Saturday.

Those games will be rescheduled for a later date and made up throughout the remainder of the season. No games will be lost.

This decision was made in accordance with TSSAA heat-related rules and guidelines and, most importantly, with the safety and well-being of our players in mind.

We know schedule changes can be inconvenient, especially on short notice, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of our coaches, players, and families.

We’re starting MV Exchange — a chance for our MVYA families to give gently used sports items a second life and help another athlete gear up! 🙌

📅 DROP-OFF: Wednesday, September 2
⏰ 6:00–7:00 PM
📍 MVYA (behind the main concessions stand by baseball)

We’ll collect your gently used sports items, then open it up for families to come grab what they need! No more letting perfectly good cleats, gloves, balls, equipment, and gear sit in the garage. 😉

We’re putting together our first MVYA Spooktacular Halloween event and we need some fun, creative people to help make it AMAZING! 🧡🖤 We are thinking October 30th.

We’re looking for volunteers who would be happy to help with:

🎃 Setting up & decorating
👻 Coming up with games for the kiddos
🍬 Trunk-or-treat ideas
🕸️ Halloween activities
🎪 Vendor/event ideas
🏆 Prizes & fun competitions
📸 Photo opportunities

This evaluation is ONLY for players who were unable to attend the first evaluation. If your child already attended the first evaluation, you do not need to attend again.

Our next player evaluation will be held today on Sunday, August 9th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the MVYA Football Field.

⏰ Evaluation Schedule:
🏈 2:00 PM – Kindergarten / 1st Grade
🏈 2:30 PM – 2nd / 3rd Grade
