Our web site is down and we're working on it. I will do a race recap this week and see if I can post points here until the site is functioning.

The good - we are racing this weekend, and as long as it's not a down pour we'll be okay. Passing showers we can deal with, and really, overcast sky's make the track easier to maintain. License to Grill will not be there this weekend, but Franks Foods will be there Saturday and Sunday 11-4. So no breakfast, plan accordingly. They were there last season and do a good job so go support them. Saturday is a test and tune, and Sunday will be our 3rd points race. Points will be getting updated shortly. The bad - last race our restrooms were vandalized. Let this be understood, anyone caught vandalizing any building, equipment, race trailers, race vehicles , tow vehicles or RV's , ( basically anything that you don't own ) will be banned for life from any event of New England Sand Drags. Also the Fair Association will be notified and you'll probably be banned from the property. Parents, you are responsible for your kids. Your kids found to be a problem means you go as well. No more kids hanging around the bathrooms, slamming doors and running around any buildings.

This Sunday the 17th, is our second points race of the season. It's just a one day event. License To Grill will be there Saturday night for dinner and their regular schedule for Sunday. Moe will have bracelets for the Fair available for purchase $20 for the weekend so get yours ahead of time. All racers, especially the ATV's, you need to have your racing number and dial in boards clearly presented. No pie plates with numbers written in pen or pencil, the tower people can't read the small writing. Summit Racing has dial in boards SUM-950000 for $30. That's the size you need, and your racing number should be similar in size and be contrasting colors. Also when you register in the morning fill out your card with the basic information. Print and sign your name, check off what class you're in, and what your number is, legibly so anyone can read it. There has been a lot of delays because some people don't fill out the cards correctly or no one can read the writing. Do better.

1st race weekend is in the books. Was a little ruff with mother nature but it is what it is. Saturday nights banquet was great, lots of food and it looked like everyone had good time. Congrats to all the 2025 racers. Sunday was a bit cold, and we had some passing showers but nothing too bad. Congrats to our class winners, Juniors - Little Lenny Cushing, Trail ATV - Catlin Taylor ( who predicted her win the night before ), Top ATV - Tommy Hart , Street / Modified - Lisa Curry ( absolutely crushing it, doing her job, way to go Lisa ! ), and Top Eliminator - one of the Richies. Also we had two perfect lights this weekend in eliminations, Ryan Conley in Trail ATV and Terry Waterhouse in Street / Modified. Good job guys. We'll see you in a couple weeks for race 2 in our points series.

The schedule for Saturday will be we test and tune until 3PM or so, then set up the Hawley building with picnic tables and chairs for the pot luck and ceremony ( help is needed, an open trailer to move tables is the best ). As far as the pot luck, ( around 5PM ) make / bring your favorite dish to share, there's power for crock pots if needed, desserts are always needed as well. After eating we'll have the awards ceremony. Also there will not be a food truck Friday night so plan accordingly. They will be there Saturday and Sunday for breakfast and lunch.

Clean up went well, not many showed up to help but the ones who did worked hard and got it done. Thanks to Robby Weymouth for bringing his dump truck and equipment, it made moving debris go quick. Lenny and Little Lenny , Scott ( with his tractor ), Shelby, Brian, Lincoln, Rob ( with his tractor ) and Jonathan were working as well. Moe did the majority of the raking so it was mostly just picking up windrows and piles. Justin , Aiden, Mike and Norm worked on some projects. This Saturday will be test and tune, Saturday night will be our banquet with a pot luck dinner , and 2025 points season trophy's and jackets. Then Sunday starts our 2026 points season.

Tomorrow’s cleanup day, Moe has raked most of our area into windrows of pine needles. Any equipment with a loader and small dump trucks or dump trailers would make this go quick. We need leaf blower’s to clear the leaves and pine needles from the track. Any help is appreciated. We usually start late morning / noon, and shouldn’t be more than an hour or two.
