ShowBiZ Kids and Dance Company, also known as Cobb Community Dance Theatre, LLC has been developing and nurturing students of all ages to excel in all areas of Dance, Theater and the Perfoming Arts for over 38 years. Another great North Georgia State Fair Performance in the books! This event is one of the highlights of our year because our dancers get to showcase their amazing talent as well as eat ALL the fair food and RIDE all the fair rides🤣 A handful of our kiddos competed in the 1st Annual All Star Pro Talent Search and took 2nd & 3rd place. Congratulations dancers! Bravo on a job well done last night.

After what feels like 10 billion years of battling with construction companies, set back after set back, lack of resources, and a lawsuit😒... WE FINALLY WERE ABLE TO USE OUR NEW THIRD STUDIO yesterday *insert Hallelujah chorus here*. We are so grateful to be able to expand like this so we can offer more great dance instruction to even more families. Ms. Shirley would be so proud😍

Showbiz was on 🔥 yesterday (figuratively and maybe literally😂) because we danced at Atlanta Motor Speedway during the Nascar Quaker State 400 Race. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and this new experience! Looking forward to making more incredible memories during our 2022-2023 Dance Season. Fall registration opens to the public on Friday, July 15th!

Applause Nationals 2022 is a WRAP!!!! We are still in awe of how AMAZING our dancers represented themselves and Showbiz. We only brought 11 dancers and a total of 9 routines to this National event AND 2 OF OUR 9 routines competed in the Best of the Best yesterday. Not to brag, but some studios with hundreds of dancers and triple the routines didn't make it that far. This is just a testament to our dancers talent and the quality training they receive. Mrs. Shirley Smith would be proud. CONGRATULATIONS TO LITTLE LEGENDS for being 2nd Overall in the Best of the Best. We were so close to taking the big trophy 🏆. However, now we have a goal to strive for on our next Nationals adventure. Congratulations to Beauty Babes for being a Best of the Best Finalist! Our 2021-2022 Competition Season is officially over. Let's step into the 2022-2023 Dance Season inspired and reaching for a new level of greatness!

Day 2 Nationals Recap Cont...
Our second day of nationals was a whirlwind!!! Lots of exciting performances and a Hawaiian Party thrown by the competition🍍🏝🌞 Here are our results:
Werk the Walk - Double Platinum & 8th Overall
Colors - Double Platinum & "Bring the Drama" Special Judges Award (they only give 5 Judges awards per ceremony so this was super exciting to receive!)
Little Legends - Elite Platinum (they received the ONLY ONE for the morning portion of competition), 1st Overall, & Best of the Best Qualifier
It Don't Matter - Double Platinum (these girls got Platinum at regionals in April and their goal was to achieve a Double Platinum at Nationals and they met that goal!!! So incredibly proud of them😁)
Great job dancers❤🤍🖤 Will post Day 3 recap tomorrow.

So this happened on Day 2 of Applause Nationals🤯😯😍 Still in shock!!! Proud is an understatement for how we feel. Never in a million years would we have guessed that Little Legends would win 1st Overall at Nationals, but also go to Best of the Best on Sunday. This is crazy awesome!!! DAY 1 OF APPLAUSE NATIONALS RECAP! This is our first ever Nationals with this group of dancers. I didn't expect much because of our beginner status even though I know our kids are so talented. BUT OMG did these dancers show up and show out!!!!! Here are our results -
Material Mai-ly - Double Platinum & 9th Overall
Sophia's So Sweet - Double Platinum & 8th Overall
Fiesta a la Cassidy - Platinum & 9th Overall
Hallelujah, It's Gianna - Platinum & 11th Overall
Work It Nikki - Platinum

Swimming into the end of our 2021-2022 Competition Season! We had a blast at our end of year pool party last night😁 Love these kiddos and their families❤🤍🖤 Things are better when we're all together!!! And we'll be together in Charleston, SC for our first EVER NATIONAL COMPETITION with this group of dancers starting this Monday. Excited to see them on the competition stage one last time and make some awesome memories. APPLAUSE NATIONALS HERE WE COME!!!!!!!

It's been a week since we visited Arendelle😭❄🥶 FROZEN ON BROADWAY was amazing!!! This show is beyond spectacular. Shoutout to the lighting technician and effects supervisor👏🏿🤌🤯 The production aspects of this show are amazing. The best part for us was getting to meet the actors at the stage door. We met young Anna & Elsa, Sven, Kristoff, Elsa, and Anna!!!! The kids even got their autographs. We also met (and took a pic with) Celina Smith who played Annie in Annie Live on NBC! It was a magical night. Unfortunately, our resident photographer, Ms. Nia, didn't get footage of the kids meeting the actors because she was fangirling herself😂 Loved having this experience with our kiddos.

Snowball fights. Reindeer Games. Elsa. And Dancing. Yes, please!!!! All those things happened at our Frostlandia Fantasy Camp last week❄☃️ We even went to see Frozen on Broadway at the Fox Theatre (more pics on that later). We had such an ice blast of a time and can't wait for our next camp, Party Like a Popstar Princess that starts tomorrow.
