A big BRAVES THANK YOU to all of the golfers who came out to the Cherokee Golf Course for the 6th Annual Braves Golf Alumni Tournament!!!!

It was a warm day with tons of great golf and laughs with friends. There were many 1st time players and lots of former golf alumni who made great memories!!!

Thank you to all the hole sponsors and FB friends (post with names coming soon) and to Jaylene De Vos and Natalie Barkley for serving up some great food all day! Also thanks to Tyler and Heidi Gerstandt for their help in setting up the day!

We had our 1st ever tie for first place and we settled it like a golf meet should be settled... with a live playoff!! 4 teams of former Braves golfers set out in the heat and after FIVE holes of extra holes, Carson Jenness and Joe Benson birdied Hole 5 to repeat as champions! Nearly 20 carts of fans watched and cheered them on!!

Junior Golf Camp Tournament is today!!! Please be to the course by 9:15 so we can tee off at 9:30!! ⛳️

There will be awards and lunch after followed by open swimming until 1 PM! This will be supervised by volunteers. 💦

Thank you to Cherokee State Bank for sponsoring the lunch, Curt Johnson for providing a sleeve of balls for each participant, Cherokee Golf Course and the Cherokee Braves Golf Coaches for making this a great 3 days!

The Cherokee Braves boys + girls golf teams finished up their respective seasons in May and celebrated with a little fun at Top Golf in Omaha!

Thank you to all the parents and community for your support this season!! The athletes and coaches are blessed by your encouragement and support!!!

Thank you to the Cherokee Athletic Boosters for their amazing help throughout the season including paying for the golf team driving range membership, countless meals during meets, helping buy new golf bags this season, and helping with practice rounds for post season play. The Cherokee Athletic Boosters do an amazing job supporting the athletes of Cherokee!!!!
