Liam Kinneen, a senior right-hander from Lexington plays with a consistent strike-first approach, crucial to Boston College High School's perfect 8-0 start. Kinneen's dominance is evident, contributing to three no-hitters out of the team's four. His recent complete-game effort against St. John's Prep included 15 strikeouts. BC High's pitching depth, including Kinneen, Sam Keene, Charlie Bushley, Alex Parisi, Jake Taylor, and Brady Lane, has been instrumental. Kinneen's evolution from a fastball-centric pitcher to one with a diverse arsenal impresses coach Steve Healy, comparing him to past standout pitchers Mike Vasil (New York Mets) and Shea Sprague (Tar Heels). Kinneen's stellar performance extends beyond pitching, offering crucial support to the outfield. BC High's success stems from both experienced players and returning talent, building momentum from previous close losses. Their recent victory against Taunton High School showcased their growth and determination. Healy emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement as they strive for further success.
