Check out this awesome adventure by SC40 alums Elena and Amanda!

Set in the Northwoods of Minnesota, Otso ambassadors Elena Alsides-Haynes () and Amanda Harvey () set off on a four-day, three-night winter excursion. They experienced deep, untouched snow; blue skies; a little hike-a-bike; the beauty of the Superior National Forest; and even a (temporarily) lost mitten.

The clocks have changed, and the air is crisp. Soon snow will (hopefully) blanket the ground. That means St Croix 40 will soon be upon us, and we can’t make it happen without your help! We’re looking for help across the board from setup and check-in, checkpoint, finish line, snowmobile patrols, and sweeping and cleanup on Sunday morning.

If you’ve ever wanted to see what winter ultras are about, volunteering is an excellent way to get hands-on experience and see if you want to toe the line someday yourself.
