Guess what happens in 10 days! That’s right! The ninth running of the St Croix 40 Winter Ultra opens registration!!! (Can you tell we’re excited?)

The summer has been too warm, it’s time to start dreaming of the cold and thinking fond thoughts of beautiful snow covered forests.

Can’t wait to see everyone for our annual all night winter adventure!

Helen and Chris have been a major part of the winter ultra community forever, and when we were starting St Croix 40 they were willing to help guide us and help us create something incredibly special. Their friendship and insights over the years is one component of why SC40 is what it is. As they step back from directing we want to share a public and heartfelt THANK YOU for everything they've given to this sport and this community. We look forward to seeing them on the trails in the future, wherever that may be.

Set in the Northwoods of Minnesota, Otso ambassadors Elena Alsides-Haynes () and Amanda Harvey () set off on a four-day, three-night winter excursion. They experienced deep, untouched snow; blue skies; a little hike-a-bike; the beauty of the Superior National Forest; and even a (temporarily) lost mitten.
