The pirates best our heroes, bringing them to their knees. the Pirate Queen glides in, takes one look, and waves them away. While the girls are taken prisoner she revels in her pilfered riches. It appears all is lost for our girls and yet, hope may still be on the horizon.

Quietly creeping, Kit and Lissie explore the Pirate Queen's Lair. They duck behind rocks and treasure as the pirates clobber by. At last they find the captured villagers and Kit's little sister Olive. While they are searching for a way to set the villagers free a pirate pipsqueak spots them and raises the alarm! A hoard of pirates attack them and the girls find themselves once more in peril!
