It is with great sadness that I have made the difficult decision to close the Midwest Sportsplex, effective today, May 18, 2026.
While the Plex will be closing to the public, all active memberships will continue to be honored through the end of the month and credits are in the process of being refunded back to the beginning of the month. Any scheduled events or party rentals will be refunded if necessary, and we will honor our last event on 5/23.
This decision was not made lightly. My goal from the very beginning was to create a place that I would have loved as a child. What started as a small hitting facility continued to grow into something much bigger — a place where families gathered, friendships were built, and memories were made.
Watching kids play and run around, hearing the crack of the bat, the laughter throughout the building, the sounds of the golf simulator, the bounce houses filling with air, and the camaraderie shared by the baggers are moments that made this place special and are what kept us fighting to keep the Plex open.
We did everything possible to make the Plex a place for everyone, but unfortunately, we faced challenges and setbacks that became too difficult to overcome.
To our GM Cary – this place couldn’t have grown to where it’s gotten without your hard work and dedication. Your efforts are appreciated more than you will ever know and It will never be forgotten.
To our employees — thank you. We are incredibly grateful for everything you brought to our team and wish you nothing but success moving forward.
To our loyal customers, families, and supporters — thank you for the support, encouragement, and memories you shared with us throughout this journey. Your support meant more than you know.
