Huge thank you to everyone that came out yesterday. Mother Nature really threw us some curve balls, but despite the surprise rain showers and fighting the wind, we had a great day!
Feel free to share your pictures and videos for everyone to enjoy! You can post them to this post, to the page, or send them in messenger and we can post them for you! Stay tuned for more posts with photos/videos!!!
I’m sure you noticed a new theme we had for our event this year. It wasn’t just Jiacobbe’s Outlaw Races, it was Jiacobbe’s Outlaw Racing for Robert.
For those of you that are new to this page or our family, Robert Jiacobbe (pictured below with Sandy, our 50/50 winner) was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer back in January at the age of 37. Since his diagnosis, he has undergone 16 rounds of chemotherapy, has been hospitalized 4 times, he has had 1 major surgery, and a handful of small procedures.
Despite all the setbacks Robert has experienced, and the long road he still has ahead of him, Robert has refused to give up and and strives to live everyday to its fullest. He wanted to bring back Jiacobbe’s Outlaw Races this year, so we did. And it was a great day.
Thank you so much for all of your support, and for making yesterday such a great day!
