Parma COED Can't Keep Lead In Game With New Apostolic Church

Even though Parma COED and New Apostolic Church both had their opportunities, it was New Apostolic Church that eventually prevailed 34-21 on Thursday. The game was tied at 18 with New Apostolic Church batting in the top of the sixth when Tom doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Dan Morgan drove in four runners in the loss. Morgan drove in runs on a walk in the first, a home run in the second, and a single in the fourth.

New Apostolic Church captured the lead in the second inning. Justin hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.

New Apostolic Church scored 12 runs in the seventh inning. The big inning for New Apostolic Church came thanks to an error on a ball put in play by Shawn, Grace, and Donnie, doubles by Tom and Justin, a triple by Matt, a single by Beth, a home run by Matt, and a groundout by Mike.

Matt earned the victory in the circle for New Apostolic Church. They allowed 20 hits and 15 runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.

Myke Merrill took the loss for Parma COED. They went six innings, allowing 34 runs on 34 hits and walking zero.

Shawn started the game for New Apostolic Church. They lasted one-third of an inning, allowing two hits and six runs

Parma COED tallied two home runs on the day. Josh Merrill had a long ball in the sixth inning. Morgan went deep in the second inning.

Parma COED racked up 22 hits in the game. Merrill, Cody Malek-Renfer, Kiera Morgan, Pat Ryan, Morgan, Rachel Gucker, Bryce, Jason Kurz, and Merrill all collected multiple hits for Parma COED. Malek-Renfer and Merrill each managed three hits to lead Parma COED.

New Apostolic Church racked up 34 hits on the day. Beth, Matt, Rich, Tom, Justin, Jordan, Donnie, Shawn, and Grace each racked up multiple hits for New Apostolic Church.

Eric Sitterly drives in 6 as Parma Menโ€™s wins over New Apostolic Church

Eric Sitterly drove in six on three hits to lead Parma Men's past New Apostolic Church 18-6 on Tuesday. Sitterly drove in runs on a sacrifice fly in the first, a triple in the second, and a single in the sixth.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. Parma Men's collected 25 hits and New Apostolic Church had 12.

New Apostolic Church fired up the offense in the first inning, when Steve doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Parma Men's tied things up at two. Parma Men's scored one run when David Loomis singled.

Parma Men's pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Sitterly tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.

Parma Men's scored four runs in the sixth inning. David Carr and Sitterly each drove in runs during the inning.

Myke Merrill earned the win for Parma Men's. He surrendered six runs on 12 hits over six innings, walking zero.

Eric took the loss for New Apostolic Church. He surrendered 18 runs on 25 hits over six innings, walking one.

Parma Men's totaled 25 hits in the game. Josh Merrill, Joe Ralyea, Merrill, Sitterly, Carr, Dave Tobey, Dave Farnan, and Loomis all collected multiple hits for Parma Men's. Merrill led Parma Men's with five hits in five at bats.

New Apostolic Church tallied 12 hits on the day. Steve, Jerry, Eric, Steven, and Mike K each racked up multiple hits for New Apostolic Church. Steve went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead New Apostolic Church in hits.
