Many years ago, an older Black shrimper told me he put Cayenne Pepper in the mix of his bottom paint. Being curious and cautious, I asked why. He told me that it helped to keep out the worms from eating the hull of the boat. He told me that "Dis boat paint is hotter than 'Soul Train Dancer' ". Ya just can't argue with that
