The decision we all get to make!
If we don’t feel our best, we can certainly change it! We have the power to take back control!

These last several months I haven’t totally felt myself, but I kept going. Sometimes it’s hard to put your finger on exactly what you need. But never give up figuring that out! Its OK to pivot. It’s ok to try new things. When you keep going and tell yourself you can do this- it will happen!!!!

Tay Tay update -

It’s a 🎶 𝗖𝗥𝗨𝗘𝗟 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 🎶 as we still have not found tickets for June 30.

So in lieu of my 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴 - I will give myself until 𝙈𝙄𝘿𝙉𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏 Thursday night as I have decided to not fly home Friday morning to chance tickets for Friday night show. As much as I adore her I just can’t financially justify what’s currently on stub hub for obstructed views

BUT I’m still not giving hope yet! It’s like Michael Jordan said “You miss all the shots you don’t take!”

So having said that if anyone hears of ANYYYY tickets for Cincinnati Friday June 30 show - 4 or 2 tickets that come available please let me know!!!! 💃🏼😘🔥💪🏼🙏🤌🏼♥️🎶🫶🏽

Yup. Your girl is still looking for Taylor tickets on June 30 in Cincinatti. 4 is preferred but will take 2! What I’ve learned thus far…

1) Her show is 💣 and has grown momentum with each city!!!! 🌆

2) Should’ve had a capital one credit card in original queue. 💳 🥴

3) There are soooo many nice people who have reached out trying to help!!!🥰

4)On the opposite end of the spectrum it’s Incredible how many scammers are out there. It’s absolutely horrendous and sad. 😤😭

5)Social media power is awesome and can absolutely be used for the positive ! 🤩 📲

6) It is really hot on my walks here in HHI and yes that is sweat on my chin🥵 💦

7) Wear sunscreen and hats to protect that face and your skincare investment ☀️ 😎

8 ) Yup i am icing my knee as I walk and listening to Tay Tay because A. I’m newly 42. (I just had to edit that because I originally put 41 😆😂🤣) B. I’m training for a marathon. And C. I’m pretty much always icing something!!!!!! 🧊

It is so disheartening seeing all of the gimmicks, lose weight-quickly-schemes, pills, wraps, patches, shakes, powders, injections , ALL if it on social media. (there is NO quick fix that is long lasting or sustainable)

𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 10 𝒕𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒘𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔:

1)Rid the sodas, sweet teas, diet soft drinks, sports drinks, “low or no calorie” drinks such as ICE or Propel or the new craze PRIME - these drinks are full of sugars, artificial colors and flavors and sugar substitutes actually creating more hunger

2) Aim for 1/2 gallon water daily.

3) Choose better carbs! Swap your frozen fries for a baked potato or sweet potato, or roast them! Choose brown rice or quinoa over white rice or pasta, as both are stripped of nutrients. Instead of the Doritos with a zillion ingredients swap with kettle chips that only have 3!

4)Avoid drive thrus. Pack healthy snacks on the road! Nuts, fruit, whole-grain crackers, cheese sticks, turkey jerky, protein bars

5) Do not skip meals! If you wait too long to eat your body goes into starvation mode so the next time you eat your body will store it as fat!

6) Replace creamy, heavy Caloric base, salad dressing with vinaigrettes.

7) Limit alcohol. Now anyone who knows me knows I love a good glass of wine. 🍷 But avoid the “making dinner with a glass of wine” nightly! stick to the weekends and not over do it.

8 ) MOVE your body. it is important to exercise five days a week.

9) DITCH. YOUR. EXCUSES.
Quit telling yourself you don’t need it. you don’t care. you don’t have time. you’re not worth it. It’s too much money. quit judging others for becoming healthy. YOU CAN make these changes. YOU ARE WORTH it.

10) Having accountability and someone to check in with is everything.

My girlfriend asked me to write a quick testimony why I started Beachbody and where I am now with BODi.

6 years ago, I was looking for a change. I was looking for something that stuck. I dabbled in lots of fitness around me locally- gyms, boot camps, boutique fitness classes- and while I enjoyed them I did not stay consistent. It was difficult with my schedule to maintain that consistency before or after work, and in between running my boys everywhere in activities. By the time I would leave my house some days to go to a class I was gone for over two hours, and I did not have time for that. So those few days a week I could manage to get that in, I did not see true results. Another huge reason why I did not see results- is because I did not focus on nutrition. No matter how often you work out or how many hours in a day, you’re not going to get results if you’re nutrition is not focused on!!! Period!!

Enter my coach in the chat. I saw her show up on social media regularly. I practically judged her for it. (I’m not proud and she knows that lol) but after seeing her results and her discipline with consistency, I knew I wanted what she had- happiness and confidence.

I jumped in my first program, the 21 day fix and I worked out 30 minutes a day for 3 weeks while eating healthier foods and better portions. My results were 😱. So I kept going.

2 years into working out at home, getting results, feeling better and stronger with every program I knew I wanted to share that with others and have the opportunity to make money by doing so!

4 years later, I’m able to work more part-time hours as a nurse practitioner, focusing on being a BODi partner, sharing an opportunity with health and the business with others! I have exceeded all of my expectations partnering with this company, getting recognition for the work I put in with generous compensation, earning Caribbean trips, leadership trainings around the country, and a community with REAL support.

Even if you 𝘈𝘙𝘌 judging, do not mistake that doubt for perseverance. 𝙈𝘼𝙆𝙀 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙀❤️❤️❤️❤️

If it is the protein you’re looking for, trust me there is a better solution!!

🚫This artificial liquid is FILLLLED with chemically-based ingredients! Ive been seeing this a lot lately 🥴😩 and there is such a disconnect of nutritional supplementation.

❌ Artificial flavors-blended chemicals derived from chemists to achieve desired aroma or taste. This type of additive can include allergic reactions and food hypersensitivity, worsening of asthmatic symptoms, abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting PLUS weight gain which I am assuming people are trying to lose when drinking this trying to suppress their appetite feeling fuller.

❌Sucralose-a chemical based hydrolyzed artificial sweetener. Due to its sugar alcohol content when consumed long term it has been linked to GI problems, seizures, dizziness, and migraines, allergic reactions, and blood sugar increase that can cause weight gain. ( 🚨 Again YALL counter intuitive. ) Plus there have been studies that are linked to carcinogens resulting to some leukemias. NOTHING y’all surprises me anymore with the FDA. 😞

❌Acesulfame potassium-a sugar-free substitute that contains the carcinogen methylene chloride, linked to long-term risks of neurotoxicity, kidney disease, liver failure, and cancer.

❌⚠️Tripotassium Phosphate, Disodium phosphate, Hexametaphosphate sodium—->>> UHHHHHH exactly.😳 if we can’t pronounce it and sounds like a chemical that’s because it IS.

❌Carrageenan-a thickening emulsifier derives from algae and used in medications. It is marked safe from DEA but known to cause abdominal bloating and cramping.

❌Mono and diglycerides-considered to be a detergent-like food additive plus emulsifier that contains traces of beef and pork that can lead to inflammation processes in the body.

❤️Trust me I used to purchase a lot of these types of products before I started truly paying attention to everything! Read the labels. If it says artificial or has dyes such as ReD Yellow or Blue, and has ingredients you can barely pronounce, I promise you we do NOT need it to live a healthy fulfilling life! Stay tuned for more!
