10 𝒘𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒕𝒊𝒑𝒔
It is so disheartening seeing all of the gimmicks, lose weight-quickly-schemes, pills, wraps, patches, shakes, powders, injections , ALL if it on social media. (there is NO quick fix that is long lasting or sustainable)
𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 10 𝒕𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒘𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔:
1)Rid the sodas, sweet teas, diet soft drinks, sports drinks, “low or no calorie” drinks such as ICE or Propel or the new craze PRIME - these drinks are full of sugars, artificial colors and flavors and sugar substitutes actually creating more hunger
2) Aim for 1/2 gallon water daily.
3) Choose better carbs! Swap your frozen fries for a baked potato or sweet potato, or roast them! Choose brown rice or quinoa over white rice or pasta, as both are stripped of nutrients. Instead of the Doritos with a zillion ingredients swap with kettle chips that only have 3!
4)Avoid drive thrus. Pack healthy snacks on the road! Nuts, fruit, whole-grain crackers, cheese sticks, turkey jerky, protein bars
5) Do not skip meals! If you wait too long to eat your body goes into starvation mode so the next time you eat your body will store it as fat!
6) Replace creamy, heavy Caloric base, salad dressing with vinaigrettes.
7) Limit alcohol. Now anyone who knows me knows I love a good glass of wine. 🍷 But avoid the “making dinner with a glass of wine” nightly! stick to the weekends and not over do it.
8 ) MOVE your body. it is important to exercise five days a week.
9) DITCH. YOUR. EXCUSES.
Quit telling yourself you don’t need it. you don’t care. you don’t have time. you’re not worth it. It’s too much money. quit judging others for becoming healthy. YOU CAN make these changes. YOU ARE WORTH it.
10) Having accountability and someone to check in with is everything.
